PILOT PROJECT: SEWING PROJECT IN YEMEN

Our new project in Yemen involves renting a space where we will provide 11 sewing machines and fabrics. Subsequently, we will organize a tailoring workshop for 11 women in need, where they will learn to make clothing under the guidance of qualified tailors. After the workshop, the women are allowed to keep the machines and set up their own workspace in the room to produce and sell garments.

Our goal with this project is to teach women a new skill and provide them with a workspace to earn their own income. We are convinced that this is a crucial step in promoting their financial independence and sustainably improving their living conditions. We plan to repeat the project as often as possible, as long as the fundraising goal is met.

The total costs of the project amount to 6.500.- CHF. We believe that this is an investment in the future of women in Yemen, as it not only grants them financial independence but also strengthens their self-respect and confidence. We hope that this project will contribute to fundamentally changing the lives of these women and providing them with a better future.
