The situation in Yemen is considered one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world. Many people have to drink dirty water. Both the government and the rebels are responsible for the humanitarian situation; there is an extreme lack of clean water, medicines and affordable food. Yemen continues to be one of the countries with the greatest water shortages in the world. Access to drinking water is extremely limited, even for the most vulnerable people. 8.6 million children in Yemen do not have sufficient access to water and sanitary facilities.

For this reason, Amanah Charity has set itself the task of supporting the poor and needy people in Yemen in these matters that threaten their very existence. With the help of our partners, we will do our best to provide clean drinking water in Yemen.

The construction of a large water tank with an irrigation system and a pump has already begun, but unfortunately has not yet been completed. The pump pumps the drinking water from the water source into the tank and transfers it to the village of AL-SARUA. Up to 700 people are supplied with sufficient water.
