Bread for all

Many people in Kosovo live in poverty and often do not have enough to eat to feed their families. To help these people, we have set up cupboards in central locations in poor villages or towns with many homeless people and fill them with bread from local bakers. This means that poor and homeless people can help themselves without unpleasant begging.

We work closely with local partners to ensure that the lockers are installed in suitable locations that are accessible to all. The cupboards are regularly checked and restocked.

The „BREAD FOR ALL“ project has a positive impact on the poor and homeless in the communities. They no longer have to beg for alms on the street, but can receive their food with dignity and self-respect. The project also shows how simple but effective solutions can be to improve the lives of people living in poverty. With CHF 45 we can buy and distribute 100 fresh loaves of bread.
