Well construction

We have launched an important project in which we are building wells in Senegal. The project usually takes 3 months due to the complex excavations that have to be carried out. The cost of a fountain is CHF 550. Donors have the option of either donating the entire amount or contributing part of it.

We also set aside a small part of the donation to carry out any repairs if the well is damaged. If the well dries up after a few years, we also use the money to dig deeper and restore the well.

By building wells in Senegal, we can give many communities in rural areas access to clean water. This improves their health and increases their quality of life. In addition, people no longer have to walk long distances to fetch water, which saves them time and energy that they can use for other activities.
