Well construction

The project we are implementing in Bangladesh aims to improve access to clean water for people by building deep wells. In order to reach the deeper water layers, which are free of toxic substances, we have to build higher quality wells, which is why the price for a well is CHF 1320.

The construction time for each well is about 3 months, and each well is equipped with a hand pump so that people can easily draw the water. Donors have the option of either donating the full amount for a well or making a partial contribution.

Our local partners are available by telephone to the population for whom we are building a well, so that we can react quickly if a well needs to be repaired. Through this project, we can improve the lives of many people in Bangladesh by giving them access to clean water and thus improving their health and quality of life.
