We have initiated a crucial project involving the construction of wells in Benin. Typically, the project lasts for 1 month due to the intricate excavations that need to be carried out. The cost for one well is 600 CHF. Donors have the option to either contribute the entire amount or contribute a portion towards it.

Additionally, we set aside a small portion of the donation amount to address potential repairs in case the well sustains damage. If the well dries up after a few years, we utilize the funds to dig deeper and restore the well.

The construction of wells in Benin allows us to provide access to clean water for many communities in rural areas. This improves their health and enhances their quality of life. Additionally, people no longer have to travel long distances to fetch water, saving them time and energy that they can allocate to other activities.
