In Somalia, education is extremely rare, with only a minuscule percentage of children attending school. Only 13 out of 100 boys and 7 out of 100 girls have access to a school. This sad reality can be traced back to the long-standing existence of a poor education system that has been neglected since colonial times.

To address this lack of education, Amanah Charity, in collaboration with our local partners, is committed to promoting education. We focus on providing school materials and catering, as many children have to travel long distances to school. We want to ensure that the children are well-nourished for their lessons.

Our goal as an organization is to make education more accessible and thus improve the future of Somalia. For an entire class of 55 to 60 students, the monthly costs amount to 750.- CHF. With your donation, we can contribute to ensuring that children in Somalia finally receive an education that provides them with better opportunities in the future. Every contribution is crucial and helps improve the education situation in Somalia.
